What is a BESS and how does it reduce electricity costs?

A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) stores electrical energy in lithium batteries for later use. For commercial and industrial facilities in Pakistan, BESS reduces costs by storing cheap off-peak or solar energy and discharging it during expensive peak demand hours (peak shaving), providing instant backup during grid outages (eliminating or reducing diesel generator costs), and maximising self-consumption of solar energy. Payback periods for C&I BESS in Pakistan are currently under two years in many applications.

Drivers scan a QR code, pay via credit card, JazzCash, or Easypaisa, and charging begins automatically. Property operators manage everything remotely through a cloud dashboard.
